Dror Ortho-Design, Inc. is set to disrupt the orthodontic industry with the launch of their revolutionary teeth straightening solution. The company, known for its AI-based orthodontic platform, has developed a proprietary solution that uses pulsating air delivered by a single custom-made smart aligner to correct people’s smiles.
Ahead of the commercial release of their ZSMILE platform, Dror Ortho-Design has announced the launch of a user experience trial for their new teeth straightening solution. This trial will involve eligible patients, orthodontists, and dental professionals in Israel, where the company is based.
Dror Ortho-Design’s first-generation solution, which received the European CE mark in 2013 and FDA 510k clearance in 2020, has already demonstrated its effectiveness in straightening teeth similar to traditional aligners. The system has successfully treated over 250 patients in Israel and Europe.
The usability trial of the second-generation solution aims to understand how patients and doctors interact with the mobile application, remote monitoring, and patient management system developed by Dror Ortho-Design. The system is designed to monitor patient treatment plan compliance in real time, providing essential feedback to both patients and doctors.
The ZSMILE app, which serves as a companion for patients, allows them to track their progress, schedule in-person and remote visits with their doctor, and receive encouraging feedback to remain compliant with their treatment plan. Patients can also use their smartphone’s video capability to scan their smile weekly for doctor review.
In addition to benefiting patients, the ZSMILE solution is intended to assist doctors by using AI technology to review patient scans, monitor progress remotely, modify treatment plans, schedule appointments, and provide access to ZSMILE orthodontic specialists. This support system aims to help general dentists and other dental professionals offer a unique and scalable service, ultimately growing their practice efficiently.
Dror Ortho-Design’s mission is to provide millions of people with a discreet and hassle-free way to improve their smiles, even while they sleep. Their solution offers a revolutionary alternative to traditional aligners, eliminating the need for people to change their lifestyle to correct their smile.
