Clean Air Metals Announces Drilling Program to Define High-Grade Zones at Thunder Bay North Project

Clean Air Metals Inc. is set to commence a 1,600-metre drilling program at its Thunder Bay North Critical Minerals project. The program will focus on targeting near-surface high-grade zones within the Current deposit to better understand their lateral continuity and tonnage potential. The drilling, consisting of up to ten short holes, is expected to begin in early August.

The Company’s technical leadership team has conducted a comprehensive review of existing geological and geophysical data for the project. The review has revealed that the known high-grade intersections at Thunder Bay North have a regular periodicity, similar to flow processes associated with alluvial gold deposits. By applying tighter drill spacing within these high-grade areas, Clean Air Metals aims to potentially increase tonnage and grade.

The high-grade ‘plums’ within the deposits are not easily detectable with available geophysical data, presenting an opportunity to improve data density and depth of penetration. To gain a better understanding of the size and potential impact of these high-grade areas, the Company plans to drill a series of tightly spaced holes into three shallow and accessible high-grade areas at the Current deposit.

The results from the drilling program will be used to develop an exploration program to potentially discover new high-grade zones and a resource delineation program to potentially increase the resources contained in these areas. Additionally, the data will guide the location for a potential bulk sample pending the submission and approval of an Advanced Exploration permit.

Clean Air Metals’ CEO, Mike Garbutt, expressed his excitement about the upcoming drilling program, stating that it is a critical step in the Company’s plan to enhance the project economics by fully defining the highest value mineralization within the Current and Escape deposits.

In addition to the drilling program, Clean Air Metals is preparing an Advanced Exploration application for the Thunder Bay North project, which represents the first stage in the Provincial mine permitting process. The Company has also applied to convert some of the property claims into a mineral lease, with approval pending.

Clean Air Metals is a development and exploration company focused on advancing its Thunder Bay North Critical Minerals project. The project hosts two deposits, the Current and Escape deposits, and contains a significant indicated mineral resource of 2.4 million platinum equivalent ounces. With its proven technical team, Clean Air Metals is committed to growing the resources at the Thunder Bay North project and creating long-term value for shareholders.

The Company acknowledges the importance of the Indigenous territories in which the Thunder Bay North project is located and is committed to building respectful relationships with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples based on trust, respect, reciprocity, and collaboration in the spirit of reconciliation.
